Admission to first year of two year full time post graduate degree courses in Management namely Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Business Management (PGDBM)/Business Administration (PGDBA).
The institutes which qualify for the admission process as per these rules are:
• Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
• Recognised by the Government of Maharashtra.
• Affiliated to any one of the ten Non Agricultural / Non Technological Universities in Maharashtra state.
Following are the types of Institutes in the Maharashtra state covered by these rules;
a) All Government Management Institutes
b) All University Departments of Management
c) All University Managed Management Institutes
d) All Unaided Management Institutes whose Association has given consent to participate in the CAP rounds conducted by the State Government.
The admission to the courses MBA/MMS is centralized and is covered under Centralized Admission Process (CAP) carried by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.

The MAH-CET paper contains 200 questions and the duration is 150 minutes. There is no negative marking in the paper, which acts as the plus point for the test takers. Unlike other MBA entrance exams, there is no sectional division of the paper. The areas which are tested are Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation/Sufficiency and Reasoning.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing to MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2011:
Candidate should have Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Full Time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.

1. • Information brochure alongwith the Application Kit for the aspiring candidates will be available at the identified post offices mentioned below during contact hours from _____ to ____ (excluding Public Holidays) against the payment of the application form processing fees.
• It is mandatory to procure the information brochure and go through it carefully. The CET that will be conducted in pursuance of this advertisement is subject to the rules and regulations set out in this information brochure. The further admission process, especially in respect of Private UnaidedInstitutes will be in terms of the clarification read with aforesaid rules and regulations.
• Submission of the application form in response to this advertisement will amount to accepting the afore said rules & regulations unequivocally by the applicant and upon such submission it will be presumed that the applicant agrees and accepts these rules & regulations as legal, valid and correct. It will not be open for any applicant, once having submitted the application form to question the legality, validity and correctness of these rules & regulations.

Overview LIBA’s prestigious programme in management leading to a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is spread over two years and consists of six terms, each approximately of three months duration
The programme: The programme consists of 41 courses, 25 compulsory and 16 electives of 3 credits each totaling to 123 credits. Students are also required to undertake a summer project and a final dissertation
The first year: The first year of the course presents the students with a comprehensive view of the management discipline. A broad perspective of the industrial environment is presented and a sound foundation is laid for advanced learning in the second year. All the courses in the first year are core courses and compulsory
In the summer of the first year, students are required to spend ten to twelve weeks in an organisation working on a project on a significant aspect or problem relating to any functional area. The performance of the students of the PGDM programme is continually evaluated and rigorously monitored to motivate them to excel. The grading synthesizes, on a nine point scale, the continual process of assessment and reflects the students combined performance in assignments, reports, project work, field-work, class participation, quizzes, mid-term and end-term tests
Eligibility: The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university (AIU) and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate

Sale of information bulletin will start from 22nd December, 2010 from various branches of banks/institutions/regional offices of the board
However, for those willing to apply online, the facility for submission of online application will be available from23rd November, 2010

Conduct of Online Examination: As per the orders of the Min. of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, the online examination would be conducted for a maximum of 1.0 lac candidates in BE/B.Tech only and remaining candidates will appear in Pen & paper mode (off-line) as conducted earlier. The candidates wishing to appear in online examination will apply online only through the AIEEE website and the fees is required to be paid by credit/ debit card only. All informations & instructions for submitting of application for appearing in online examination are available on AIEEE websitewww.aieee.nic.in. The date & time of examination will be informed seperately to all the candidates applying for online examination.

The online examination would be conducted in the cities mentioned in Appendix-VII of information bulletin. The pattern of question paper & time duration of online examination and offline examination would remain the same and the candidates will be informed by various modes about their center, date & time of online examination. Online examination will be conducted for a maximum capacity of 5000 candidates in a city on first-come-first serve basis. The candidates may opt another city if the seats in a particular city are full. Though, the candidates have been asked to submit their choices of examination cities but the Board has right to change the center. The examination fee for the candidates who intend to appear in online examination is as under.

  • Keep the details of Credit Card (VISA/MasterCard) ready.
  • Logon to the AIEEE website, fill the application form, note down the registration number which would be generated by system that is required for making the payment of fee.
  • Make the payment through Credit Card and note down the payment receipt number, after successful payment of fee.
  • Take a printout of Confirmation Page and complete as per the instruction given below.
  • Note : Bank will charge 2% service/processing charges and service tax as applicable on transaction made by Credit card.

Paste your two recent photographs (as given in point 6 below), sign in the specified box and send this confirmation page along with Demand Draft (In case of Examination Fee deposited through Demand Draft) by Registered/Speed Post (NOT BY COURIER) to " The Assistant Secretary (AIEEE Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension,Patparganj, Delhi 110 092" for further processing so as to reach latest by 20.01.2011 . Application received beyond this date will not be accepted.

Photograph : Firmly affix two recent high contrast passport size preferably black & white photograph (taken on or after 1.9.2010) with gum/fevicol (not to be pinned or stapled) in the space provided for it in the Application Form one duly attested by the head of the institution where the candidate is studying/passed class XII or the Gazatted officer. The photograph must indicate clearly the name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable. The photograph of the candidate should be attested by the Principal/Head of the Institution or Gazetted Officer in such a way that part of the signature is on the photograph and remaining part of the signature is on the application form. Attestation should be done on the bottom part of the photograph so that the photograph is not defaced. Candidates not complying with these instructions or with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination/Counselling/Admission.

Date of Birth : Only  those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1986 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handica pped (PH) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PH candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1981 are eligible.  Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.
