Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai was instituted in the year 1928. The
institute is collaborated with various eminent Institutes in India and across
the globe.
The Institute has educated numerous members and awarded several banking and finance qualifications, viz., JAIIB, CAIIB, Diploma and Certificates in about 20 specialized areas and helped them to sustain their professionalism through Continuing Professional Development programs.
The Institute has also contributing in the area of financial inclusion by offering certification course for BC/BFs.

The Institute is managed by a Governing Council comprising
eminent persons from the banking and finance sector, academicians and
professionals. The day-to-day management of the Institute vests in the hands of
the Chief Executive Officer who in turn is supported by a Deputy CEO- Academic
Affairs & Training and Deputy CEO – Operations.
The new campus has two floors of which one floor has been
exclusively earmarked for training purposes. State of the art training
infrastructure has been created to offer class room training for the
examinations of the Institute and also niche areas. The Institute has started
offering Leadership development, Faculty development, and other courses in the
new premises.

Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Banking & Finance (PGDBF):-
This course helps the students by providing fundamental
clarity and then advances to expose the participants to all essentials of
banking & finance. It provides candidates with competencies required to act
as an Independent Financial Advisor. It also provides in-depth knowledge of
Banking & Finance to the students of commerce, management and economics
with practical inputs and prepares them for career in Banks & other
Financial Institutions. It enables candidates to meet the client's wealth
creation and wealth protection needs.
Eligibility-
Applicants should have valid scores of CAT/ATMA/CMATand must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per
cent marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for final year of
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination and are awaiting result can also
apply
Admission Procedure-
Candidates short listed on the basis of CAT/ATMA/CMAT scores
will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at select centers.
Final selection is based on scores of CAT/ATMA/CMAT, academic performance and
GDPI.
Selection Process-
- The admission to IFBI program is granted based on the performance in personal interview and the IFBI Common Entrance Test (ICET or IFBI Aptitude Assessment Test) . The ICET contains four sections, namely English Language Ability, Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning and Basic Checking. Continued academic excellence is must for the entire program.
- The enrollment process is integrated with the interview schedule and candidates successful at the interview will be expected to enroll immediately thereafter, along with the requisite fees. Candidates will be expected to accept the terms and conditions of admission - including specific items related to internship (applicable for select programs), education loan and placement assistance facility (applicable for select programs) during the enrollment. Candidates will receive a Welcome Kit during enrollment.
