About Aditya Dental College:
Aditya dental
college, & hospital is an offshoot Aditya Educational Trust, Beed which was
started in 2006 with an intake capacity of 100 students. The college provides
one degree course i.e. B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with four (04) years
of study and with one year of compulsory rotating internship. The college was
duly recognized by Government of India and approved by. Dental council of
India, and apex body controlling and regulating Dental education in India.
Aditya Dental college, Beed is affiliated to Maharashtra University in the
State of Maharashtra.
There is great need
for quality Dental surgeons as Dentist-Population ratio is 1:20000 at present
but the Global target is 1:5000. In providing Dental care and Dental education,
75% of burden is on Private clinics and Private Dental Institutions. In recent
times, it has been observed that nearly 70-75% of the admitted students into
BDS course are girls. Keeping in view of the above facts, Aditya Dental College
,Beed has been built and provided necessary infrastructure, Dental equipment
and other facilities to product quality Dental equipment and other facilities
to produce quality Dental graduates. Aditya Dental College & Hospital has
facilities to teach basic medical subjects like General Human Anatomy, Human
Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, General
Medicine, General Surgery including Anaesthetia Ist year, 2nd year and 3rd year
BDS students.
Infrastructure:
Boy’s
Hostel :- Hostel for boys with capacity of 120 students
in college campus with facilities of STD, Canteen, Mess and co-operative store.
Girls
Hostel :- Three Girl’s Hostel, in college campus with 900 students capacity
with facility of T.V,STD, study rooms, canteen, mess and security.
Hospital
: The Trust has its own hospital with
all improved technologies and expert doctors. This facility is provided to all
the students on normal annual charges that gives home care to the students
Mess
:- The college runs its own mess on “no
profit no loss basis” , so we can provide quality meal to our students .
Sports
:- Outdoor & Indoor games facilities are available in the college with
sports teacher.
Gymkhana
:- Gymkhana is available for the staff and students with latest machineries
& guide.
Library
:- Having collection of more than 2000 books of recent edition, with reading
room for the staff and students. Facilities like internet connection,
magazines, journals, news paper and Xerox are also available.
Computer
Lab :- The computer Lab is developed having the facility such as 24 hrs 100
mbps internet connection for internet services. Facilities like Microsoft
office, printing, scanning , projector, & data sharing are also available.

1. Duration of the
course.
Undergraduate
dental training programme leading to B.D.S. degree shall be 4 years with 1 year
of rotating Internship .
2. Attendance.
Every
student shall have minimum 75% attendance in theory classes and 75% in
practical classes separately, Any student falling short of this, will not be
permitted to appear for the university examinations.

GOAL OF
BDS STUDENT
The dental graduates
during training should acquire adequate knowledge, necessary skills and
reasonable attitudes which are required for carrying out all activities
appropriate to general dental practice involving the prevention, diagnosis and
treatment of anomalies and diseases of the teeth, mouth, jaws and associated
tissues. The graduate also should understand the concept of community oral
health education and able to participate in the rural health care delivery
programmes existing in the country.
Admission
Procedure for BDS
Eligibility:
12th passed 50%
marks in PCB
40% marks in PCB
(for category) 50% marks in Asso. CET (Open)
40% for
(Reservation) 17 years completed at the time of admission.
For NRI candidate
50% marks in P.C.B. No CET required.( NRI certificate must .)
