Navodaya Medical College (NMC), Raichur was started by S. R. Reddy in 2001. The medical college based in Raichur, Karnataka, India.

The college, was the first private sector medical college in Raichur. The college started with only the Navodaya Hospital & diagnostic centre in 1996 and later in 2001 with the setting up of Navodaya Medical College (NMC), it became a full-fledged independent Medical college in Raichur.

The College offers a four and a half year program leading to the award of the degree M.B.B.S. Navodaya Medical College and the attached Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre are duly recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and are associated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore.

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) – 4 ½ years course plus 1 year of compulsory internship

Admission in Navodaya Medical College:

• NMC Admission: Candidates should have passed 12th standard and should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (taken together) and should have passed English as one of the subjects.
• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission. Selection is through COMED-K and CET
• The candidates seeking admissions to PG programs should have passed the M.B.B.S degree examination from a recognized Medical College affiliated to any university recognized by the MCI.
• The Candidates should have completed one year of Compulsory Rotating Internship in a teaching institution recognized by the MCI.
• The Candidates should have registered their M.B.B.S degree with the respective State Medical Council.
• Selection of candidates for postgraduate degree / diploma courses shall be on merit basis of the rank list of the entrance examinations - PGET conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences & KRLMPCET.
