Gujarat PG Dental 2015 Eligibility: 

The dental entrance examination is expected to be held in second week of February 2015. The exam will be conducted by Gujarat University (GU) in paper pencil format to offer admission for three years duration postgraduate dental course Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) to qualifying candidates.

 Candidates will be selected for the 50% MD/MS seats in state Dental colleges Gujarat on the basis of rank in the merit list. The remaining 50% seats will be filled through national level All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) score.

Gujarat PG Dental 2015 Eligibility Criteria

·         Candidates must be an Indian citizen.

·         Candidate must have permanent registration with Dental Council of India or Gujarat Dental Council.

·         Candidates should have passed BDS from institute located within Gujarat. However, candidates, who have passed the exam outside the state, are required to submit provisional eligibility certificate (PEC).

·         Candidates should have completed one year duration internship at the time of counseling.

·         Candidates, who are pursuing P.G Dental Studies from Gujarat University or any other universities in the state, are not eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

·         Candidates, who were selected and admitted to any post graduate Dental course in past years and they have not completed the applicable course, are also not eligible for the exam.  

Result of qualified candidates shall be declared in online mode in the month of March. Provisional and final merit list will also be declared the same month on the official of exam conducting authority.  As per the rank/merit and preferred college by candidates admission will be offered in the counselling rounds, which is expected to begin in first week of first week of April.
