MGIMS Wardha and WBJEEM 2015 exam dates come to blows
The undergraduate medical exams of both MGIMS and WBJEE 2015 have been announced to be conducted on the same date. In what should affect aspirants of both the exams, MGIMS Wardha PMT 2015 will be held on 19 April, 2015 which clashes with WBJEEM’ s second day of examination.
WBJEEM 2015 will be held in two days. The first day of the medical exam to be held on 18 April, 2015 will be taken for Biology and the second day i.e 19 April, 2015 will test the candidates in Mathematics and physics-chemistry.
The clash of exam dates mean that medical aspirants can appear for only one of the medical entrances among the two until either of the two bodies decide to change its date. If the date is not changed students will have to give up admission opportunity under one of the exams as there would be no point in appearing just for Biology for WBJEEM.
WBJEE Medical 2015 is a state level undergraduate medical entrance exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for admission to 85% MBBS and BDS Seats in Central and State government medical and dental colleges. It offers admission to 22 medical colleges of West Bengal.
MGIMS Wardha PMT 2015 is a National level medical entrance examination conducted by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha, Maharashtra for admission to 100 MBBS and BDS seats.
A similar issue of date clash has developed between both AIPMT 2015 and BVP CET MBBS 2015 exam as well as AMU and IPU CET 2015. While the conducting bodies of AIPMT and BVP CET have announced the entrance test on the same date i.e 3 May, 2015 that for AMU and IPC CET have been announced on 26 April, 2015.
