UPPGMET 2015 Entrance Exam on January 10

Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association will conduct UPPGMET 2015 Entrance Exam on January 10, 2015. UPPGMET 2015 is a state level entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/ Diploma courses seats in Unaided Medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.  The exact number of seats and colleges participating in UPPGMET 2015 will be announced soon by examination authority.

According to UPPGMET 2015 eligibility criteria, applicants who will apply for UPPGMET 2015 should have passed their MBBS from Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized institution and must have completed or completing their internship by April 1, 2015. Applicants must have their registration with either with State Medical Council or Medical Council of India. The minimum qualifying marks in UPPGMET 2015 for admission to the Post Graduate Courses shall be 50% for General and 40% for reserved categories candidates.  

The application procedure of UPPGMET 2015 will begin from October 20, 2014. UPPGMET 2015 application form can be filled either online or offline.  Candidates who wish to fill offline application form can download it from the official website of UPPGMET. Candidates must fill-in the application form neatly and legibly and submit it with the relevant document to the examination authority on before the due date.

UPPGMET 2015 exam will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by examination authority. According to officials, the UPGMET 2015 syllabus will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by Medical Council of India (MCI). The question will be based more on depth of the syllabi rather than extent of coverage.

UPPGMET 2015 exam will pen and paper based. The entrance exam will have 250 objective types multiple choice questions. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for negative answers. More than one answer marked in OMR answer sheet will be considered as wrong answer and marks will be deducted accordingly.
