AIPGDEE-2015 Exam Notification Dates | All India PG Dental Entrance Exam 2015

Admission Notification for MDS Entrance Examination 2015
Applications are invited in the prescribed form through online mode only for All India Post-Graduate Dental (MDS)Entrance Examination - 2015 for admission against 50% All India Quota in various Postgraduate (MDS) courses in Dental Colleges in the country.

Eligibility Criteria
Only Indian nationals possessing BDS degree from a recognized Dental College or a foreign degree included in the schedules of the Indian Dental Council Act, 1956 and full registration either from the Dental Council of India or State Dental Council after completing the compulsory rotating internship and should complete the required period of 12 months pre-registration internship from a recognized Hospital on or before 31st March, 2015.

The condition of one year Compulsory Rotating Internship is not applicable to those candidate who had passed their final BDS Exam on or before 1988 and hold a BDS Degree from a Dental College recognized by the Dental Council of India and have obtained provisional or permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils

However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying exam (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GOI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March 2015 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st March 2015 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March 2015.

Syllabus AIPGDEE - 2015

The syllabus for the All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Exam for admission to the MDS courses shall be that of BDS standard and shall cover all the subjects/syllabus taught during the BDS course as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time.

There will be only one paper of 3 hours duration (10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.) containing 200 MCQs consisting of Basic Sciences, Para-Clinical and Clinical subjects The questions will be single answer objective type Each answer with correct answer shall be awarded four marks One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect answer and will be negatively marked

This Scheme shall be applicable to the 50% seats dental college included in (Appendix-VI & VIII)
These dental colleges shall not hereafter conduct their own competitive entrance exam for admission in MDS Courses

Number of Seats

The number of seats available for the year 2015 has not been communicated by all the colleges covered under the AIPGDEE Scheme till the time of this Online Prospectus

The number of AIQ seats available in different colleges with their subject-wise break-up, shall be displayed on website www.mcc.nic.in/ www.mohfw.nic.in during the period of on-line counseling by the Medical Counseling Committee

Exam Centres

The examination will be conducted at six cities Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram in online mode only on 24th January 2015, Saturday, from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.

Candidates should report at the allotted centre of exam at 08.00 am; no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 09.50 am

Declaration of Results

The result of successful candidates with their rank numbers is expected to be declared by the 05th February 2015 and will be displayed on the notice board of Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi It will be available on the website at www.aiimsexams.org

The candidates who figure in the merit list are required to download the Rank Letter from website www.aiimsexams.org as the rank letter will not be sent through postal service
