Medical Sciences - Deemed University founded its own Rural Health Centre
(RHC) - 9th in the series, at Village Lohare-Mirpur on 9th April 2013, as part
of WHO Day celebrations.
The new RHC is another step towards strengthening the PIMS
University-Community Partnership for improving access and sustainable health in
the remote rural area. The services of RHC reach about 12000 general
populations inhabited in 6 villages (Lohare, Mirpur, Primri Lokai, Mendavan,
Kasare, Wadzare) 10-20 Km away from the University.
The RHC provides general medical, maternal, child and
adolescent health and laboratory services. These routine medical services are
augmented by specialist services on regular periodical visits by PIMS
University Medical and Dental Hospital and Physiotherapy faculty.

The lush green campus of the University is spread over an
area of 120 Acres, on Manmad – Nashik State Highway. The campus is beautifully
planners and landscaped from utility and aesthetic point of view.

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) – 4 ½
years course plus 1 year of compulsory internship
Admission Procedure:
- Candidate must be Indian National.
- The nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport will be considered as a proof of Nationality.
- Candidate must have passed qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) examination with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Candidate belonging to general category must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC ( or equivalent) examination.
- Candidate belonging to backward classes must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) examination.
- Candidate should be either of 17 years of age on or attain this age as on 31st December of the Academic year in which admission is sought.
- The candidates who are appearing for qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) in February/March of the respective academic year are eligible to appear for entrance examination, however they must fulfill the eligibility condition at the time of counseling.
- Candidate belonging to general category should obtain minimum 50% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.
- Candidate belonging to backward classes should obtain minimum 40% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.
Mode of Entrance:
- The duration of the AICET is of three hours.
- The test is conducted on the predefined syllabus depending upon courses.
- The question paper for the CET consists 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQ), each correct answer carries one mark.
- There is no negative marking.
- The AICET is conducted during May-June every year for undergraduate courses and in January for PG courses
